On a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac, B+B York (formerly The Groves hotel) is a 10-minute stroll from York city centre and offers en-suite rooms and bar/lounge facilities. The main building dates back to the late 1800s and B&B York still has some charming original features, such as a splendid grand staircase and patterned windows. The elegant, individually styled rooms each have a flat-screen TV, a radio, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary biscuits. The bar is open until 23:00 each day. Guests can relax and read the daily newspapers, with a selection of beers and wines available throughout the day. Several bars and restaurants are located within a 10-minute walk. Bedrooms are located in either the main building or in 2 separate buildings around the car park. The hotel is 10 minutes' drive away from York Racecourse. Historic York Minster is 0.5 miles away, whilst York Railway Station is a 5-minute drive away.

When booking 3 or more rooms either together or separately, a 20% non-refundable deposit will be charged upon booking and the balance payment will be charged at least 14 days prior arrival. Please note that this property cannot accommodate hen and stag parties. A cot / crib is available on request, subject to availability and by prior arrangement. House-trained pets can be accommodated, subject to availability and by prior arrangement. Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:30 (Monday to Friday), or from 08:00 until 10:00 (Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays). Please note that the property does not have a lift.
