Set in a beautiful Edwardian building, Northrise Lodge is just 5 minutes’ drive from Hastings’ shingle beach. Picturesque walks can be enjoyed in Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve, along the cliff tops and 853 acres of outstanding natural beauty, all less than a mile away. Antique shops, restaurants and bars line the quaint High Street, which is just 1.5 miles away. The Grade I listed ruins of Hastings’ Norman castle are a 5-minute drive away. Both the sea front and the old town can be reached with a 30-minute steady walk. Free on-street parking is available and there is also secure parking for motorbikes. A bus service runs from the Hastings rail station to directly outside the property. An LCD TV, free WiFi access and a hairdryer are provided in each room. A selection of toiletries and a shower are included in every private bathroom. Some rooms at Northrise also have sea views. Guests can also relax in the residents' lounge which includes tea and coffee making facilities, a 3D TV and comfortable sofas. An optional full English breakfast with a choice of cereal, yogurts, fresh fruit, croissant, toast and jam are available on a Saturday and Sunday.

Guests wanting to pay by bank transfer are kindly requested to do so 2 weeks before arrival. Guests are kindly requested to inform the Northrise Lodge of their estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Special Request box when booking or by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Flexible check-in times are available by prior arrangement only and must be confirmed by management prior a stay. There is no 24 hour reception. Please note, in January 2017, breakfast cannot be served, due to a refurbishment of the dining room.
