Located in Byron Bay town centre, Byron Bay YHA offers backpacker accommodation just 400 metres from Main Beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a BBQ area and games room. Guests enjoy free WiFi in communal areas. All rooms at Byron Bay YHA Backpackers Hostel have a fan and access to shared bathroom facilities. Private twin and double rooms are available. The large comfortable common areas and kitchen overlook the swimming pool with sun terrace. Guests can borrow surfboards and bodyboards. Luggage can be securely stored in the locker room. Byron Bay YHA is situated 150 metres from the coach terminal. It is less than 5 minutes’ walk to bars, cafes and restaurants.

Guests arriving outside reception opening hours can check in using the hotel's check-in machine. To receive the password, please contact the hotel prior to arrival using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Children are welcome, but are not permitted to stay in dormitory rooms. Children aged 17 need a letter from a parent/legal guardian to stay in dormitory rooms. If children are 16 or under, they will need a parent/legal guardian aged over 21 to stay with them in a private room.
