Backpack Oz offers affordable accommodation in Adelaide’s Central Market, just a 5-minute walk from the City Centre. It offers a rooftop terrace, a beer garden and free Wi-Fi access. Guests get a choice to stay in a lively shared room, or in the comfort of their own private room. Toilet and bathroom facilities are shared. All rooms air-conditioned, and kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned daily. The light-filled shared dining and lounge room offers a large flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy free BBQ dinner on the first Tuesday of every month. The staff at the tour desk can assist in arranging trips to the Kangaroo Island, the Barossa Valley or the Flinders Ranges. Free bike rental services are available for those who wish to explore the area. Oz Backpack is a 20-minute tram ride from the Glenelg Beach and a 15-minute walk from the dining options along Rundle Street. The Adelaide International Airport is a 15-minute drive away.

Unfortunately, Backpack Oz is unable to accommodate bookings for large groups. Any such bookings will be cancelled, with no refund given. The hotel apologises for any inconvenience caused. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The legal guardian must provide a current photo ID or proof of guardianship if requested upon check-in. You must be over the age of 18 to stay in dormitory rooms. Please let Backpack Oz know your expected arrival time in advance.
