A visit to the world heritage city of Quedlinburg is certainly recommended. but a trip to with the characteristic small gauge railway to the 1100 metre Brocken is a great experience. There are also hiking routes around Braunlage and throughout the Harz which are recommended in all seasons. but you can also just enjoy the sun on the terrace of the house.
