Set in the village of Schalkenmehren, these spacious apartments are 400 metres of Schalkenmehrener Maar crater lake. Satellite TV, free parking and a furnished balcony or terrace are offered at each apartment. The bright apartments at the Maarberg Resort feature box-sping beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room/dining room. Rooms including a spa bath are available. All come with free Wi-Fi and some also include lakeside views. Guests at the apartments and studios can enjoy access to the sauna, solarium, reception and lobby. Shared laundry facilities are also available. Schalkenmehrener Maar offers a range of water sports, and guests can enjoy a walk around the lakes. There is also pond containing exotic fish. The Vulkaneifel area has many hiking and cycling trails, including the scenic Maare-Mosel trail. The Maarberg Resort is a 10-minute drive from the town of Daun, where there is a great selection of shops, restaurants and cafés.
