Located in historic Kirkcudbright, in the old High Street, the Baytree House is a Georgian property with many original features including a vaulted ceiling, marble fireplace and a sweeping staircase. There is also a drawing room for guests' exclusive use, equipped with books, magazines, board games, TV with DVD player and a collection of DVDs. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house and guests can borrow a laptop computer if needed. The rooms have en suite facilities with toiletries, a hairdryer, fresh towels and slippers, and other features include a flat-screen TV, DVD player, ironing facilities, tea/coffee, bottled water and welcome sherry. In the morning at Baytree House, breakfast is served in the spacious conservatory dining room which outlooks over the garden. The buffet breakfast includes unlimited toast, tea, coffee, cereals and fruit. The bed & breakfast rate includes a choice of freshly cooked breakfasts served to your table as well as your choices from the buffet table. Maclellan's Castle, the Tolbooth Art Centre, the Stewartry Museum and a swimming pool, as well as many independent shops, restaurants and pubs can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes.

Dogs can be accommodated for GBP 10 per dog, per stay. Dogs are only allowed in the ground floor twin rooms and garden studio apartment, subject to availability and by prior arrangement. Please note the pet friendly rooms are situated away from the guest drawing room and other guest bedrooms. Please note that there is no cooked breakfast available from 05 December 2016 until 14 December 2016.
