Nestled in the town centre of the historic town of Taunton, Taunton House Hotel is a family owned, independent hotel. Built in the 1850s, this delightful Victorian house boasts many Gothic features including arched doorways, an oak staircase, and stained glass windows. Classically decorated, the rooms feature free WiFi, an en-suite luxury bathroom, a seating area and a TV. A luxury room with a four poster double bed is also featured. Situated half a mile from the Vivary Park Golf Course and from the 19th-century Somerset County Cricket Club, Taunton House Hotel is well placed also for the Musgrove Park hospital and the county court. Both the bus and railway station are within 10 minutes’ walk.

Please note that Taunton House Hotel cannot accept American Express credit cards. Smoking is strictly not permitted in the hotel. Pets are not permitted in the hotel or car park. Room keys must be handed in to reception upon check-out. Missing or lost keys will incur a surcharge of GBP 50.00. Children remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian at all times whilst staying at the hotel.
