This family-run hotel is located in front of the long beach at Duhnen, a 10-minute drive from Cuxhaven town centre. Strandhotel Duhnen offers an à la carte restaurant, a beauty salon, and large spa with an indoor swimming pool. The 4-star-superior Strandhotel Duhnen offers rooms featuring cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, a work desk and a private bathroom. The spacious, sea-facing double rooms and junior suites with balconies, as well as the single rooms with lateral sea view and balcony offer a fantastic view over the beach, the Wadden Sea, Neuwerk island and the waterway. The 600 m² Levitas Wellspa (spa area) at Strandhotel Duhnen includes saunas, hot tubs and a range of massages and cosmetic treatments. Built in 2015, the Skylounge is a great place to sunbathe and the ahoi thalasso centre 500 metres away offers courses in yoga, pilates and more. Guests can build sandcastles, go mudflat hiking, sailing or windsurfing here in the Wattenmeer Nature Park. Vier Jahreszeiten restaurant offers a direct view of the North Sea. Please note the spa area will be closed for annual maintenance between 08 January 2018 and 11 January 2018. If guests would like to go swimming during this period, the hotel will pay for guests to visit the Thalassozentrum ahoi! baths, 500 metres away.
