It is a 30-minute scenic helicopter ride from Townsville Airport or a 1.5 hour ride from Cairns. The surrounding World Heritage-listed Marine Park boasts snorkelling and diving with over a thousand species of tropical reef fish. Each of the refurbished beachfront rooms offer bright and modern décor, a 32-inch LED flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station. Crisp white bed linens and Li’tya guest amenities are provided. Orpheus Island is accessible via helicopter transfer from Townsville. The transfer is AUD $550 return per person. It is AUD $1340 per person return from Cairns.
