Rooms with bunk beds and family rooms in the Jugendgästehaus hostel (renovated existing building) are simpler furnished and some include a balcony. Buffet breakfast with regional products is prepared every morning at the Wildschütz. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 17:00. The Gmunden Sports Centre, tennis courts, riding facilities and Solarbad Altmünster Pool are only a 2-minute drive from the Hotel Wildschütz. Lake Traunsee is 10 minutes away on foot, and Altmünster can be reached in a 3-minute drive.
