Hotel Strandlyst, dating back to 1895, is located on the north-west coast of Jutland. The ferry terminal in Hirtshals is a 5-minute drive away, where you also find the North Sea Aquarium. Free on-site parking in available. All the rooms at Hotel Strandlyst are individually decorated and sized. Some even have a seating area. Bathroom facilities are either private or shared. In the tradition of the Danish “Badehotel” there are no TVs or radios in the rooms, however there is WiFi in all areas of the hotel. Facilities include a terrace, where you can enjoy your meals or a drink, a spacious garden and common areas with a TV and a few games. Hotel Strandlyst has an in-house restaurant, open during summer, where you can enjoy a meal based on local products. Hotel staff can recommend area activities, such as hiking and cycling or a day at the beach. A 10-minute walk away is Tornby Beach. Aalborg and Frederikshavn are less than one hour away by car.

If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Hotel Strandlyst in advance. Please note that payment takes place at check-in. Both EUR and NOK currencies are accepted. At Hotel Strandlyst, there is an extra charge when you pay with a credit card. Please note that the restaurant is closed during the winter season. Breakfast can be ordered upon arrival.
