Bloomfield House is a fine, friendly, family-run Georgian guesthouse with elegant rooms, fine art, antiques and splendid views across Bath from its quiet, elevated position. The town centre can be reached in a 15/20-minute walk. There is a regular bus route for the return uphill journey. Bloomfield House was built in the 1790s and was once the home of the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress. It is a Grade II listed building and has good environmental credentials. Pets are welcome at Bloomfield House. Full English breakfasts are organic, Fair Trade and ingredients are provided by local suppliers. Each room is individually styled, with either a four-poster or half-tester bed.

If booking for the same day arrival, it is essential that you phone Bloomfield House to arrange an agreed arrival time. Please use the contact details provided on the booking confirmation to do so. For those with allergies, there are both dogs and cats at the guest house. Please note that all rooms are on the second floor and are accessed via stairs. There is no lift available. Bloomfield House takes no responsibility for cars parked in the car park.
