Just 400 metres from the yacht-lined harbour, the family-run Tusker Lodge is 5 minutes’ walk from central Torquay. It has a pretty sun terrace overlooking Torwood Gardens, and boasts free Wi-Fi and free parking on site (reservation needed). Within walking distance is the coastal path to Beacon Cove, Meadfoot, Hope Cove, Ansteys Cove, Babbacombe Beach and Oddicombe Beach. Tusker Lodge is only a minute’s walk from the Natural History Museum, and Princess Theatre is a 10-minute walk away. Rooms are traditionally furnished, and each benefits from a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Some have an en suite bathroom with free toiletries, and others have shared bathroom facilities.

Please note that Tusker Lodge cannot accept bookings of more than 1 room. Check in times are between 15:00 and 18:00. You will not be able to check in outside of these times without prior agreement. Please note that parking must be reserved at the time of booking. The parking space cannot be used before check-in or after check-out. Arrivals after 18:00 will not be admitted unless agreed by management with 48 hours notice. Early/late check-in fees may apply. Check-in after 21:00 is not possible. Please inform Tusker Lodge in advance of your expected arrival time.
