The Scarborough Travel and Holiday Lodge won the Outstanding Customer Service Award at the 2010 Discover Yorkshire Coast Tourism Awards. It offers free WiFi, a bistro and free off road parking. This budget lodge-style accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the town centre and 800 metres from the Spa Complex and South Bay. The well equipped bedrooms feature a TV, radio and a shower room. Family rooms can sleep up to 5 people: 2 adults and 3 children or 3 adults. There is also a patio area. The relaxing Crosby’s Bar offers a range of beverages, and the rustic Funny Onion Bistro serves breakfasts daily using local produce. The lodge has over 10 years experience with educational visits. Group bookings are taken by prior arrangement. There is an ongoing refurbishment programme in place to upgrade the accommodation. When booking, a refurbished room cannot be guaranteed.

If a booking has been received of 3 rooms or more which are either mixed group or same sex, then this will be treated as group booking. A group booking contract must be signed and a security bond must be paid before check in or the hotel reserves the right to refuse entry. Any bookings discovered to be made separately but are part of group will also have to agree to the group booking contract. The bond will be refunded upon check out providing no damages have been caused to the property and there are no disturbances to other guests at the hotel.
