Set in 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, in a beautiful, peaceful location in North Yorkshire, this 18th century farmhouse offers attractive en suite bed and breakfast accommodation, as well as serviced lodges on a room only basis. Just 1.5 miles from the picturesque market town of Pickering, Barker Stakes Farm is a family-run farm, offering charming, spacious accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. Your hosts, Steve and Sarah, offer a warm welcome. Served in the conservatory for guests staying in the rooms, breakfasts are made using the best local ingredients, including the farm’s own free-range eggs. There are 11 en suite rooms, all situated on the ground floor, in converted outbuildings situated around a courtyard and 8 cabins. All of the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Each room has a comfortable leather sofa or armchair, an LCD flat-screen TV and a DVD player. All rooms are equipped with fridges and tea/coffee making facilities. Every bed has a comfortable pocket spring mattress.
Important information
Guests cannot exceed the maximum amount of occupants in a room. Any person over the age of 2 is classed as an occupant. Guests that try to exceed the room's maximum occupancy will be refused entry. Please note that pets are only permitted in the Pet Friendly Double Room, the cabin room and the lodges. Dangerous breeds cannot be accepted. Any damage caused to the property must be reported and will be charged to your card.
