The friendly barringtons is a Grade II listed building with free Wi-Fi, good breakfasts, and excellent food. Near the Peak District, Matlock is a 5-minute drive away. Each spacious room at barringtons has a 32-inch flat-screen TV and tea/coffee. There is a large garden with a seating area. The oak-panelled restaurant serves a popular, modern menu and barringtons has a cosy lounge bar. Many original Victorian period features remain at barringtons.

Please note that the bar closes at 22:00 on Monday and Sunday. Children can stay in the rooms but this must be requested in advance (subject to availability). See Hotel Policies as additional costs may apply. Food is served Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 - 14:30 and Monday-Saturday 18:00 - 21:00. On Sundays food is served from 12:00 - 18:00 and on Bank Holidays food is served 12:00 - 17:00. It is recommended you book a table for evening meals as early as possible, especially at weekends. Tables cannot be guaranteed without a restaurant reservation. The restaurant may be closed due to private functions. Please contact the hotel for more information regarding when it is closed. Check-in before 16:00 is not possible on Mondays.
