Our small, friendly, family-run guest house is situated on the Eastern Esplanade, and offers outstanding sea views in the heart of Cliftonville, close to the centre of Margate. A 5-storey Victorian terraced property featuring old charm with a modern twist, the Malvern provides the ideal base to explore this seaside town on foot. There are several outstanding Blue Flag award beaches, a stunning coastline ideal for walking and cycling, some of the best golf courses in the UK and a vast array of activities and attractions including the newly opened Turner Contemporary Art Gallery. The Malvern's famous Blues Brothers themed bar and restaurant serves a highly acclaimed breakfast. Evening meals are available by prior arrangement, and all meals are freshly prepared and cooked by the in-house chef, using local ingredients where possible.
Important information
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the restaurant will be closed until further notice. This does not affect guests who booked breakfast. The guest house does not have a lift and may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Parking is on street outside and opposite and is free. This cannot be reserved as this is public parking. Late check out/ early check in subject to availability and charges. Please note that the check-in and key-collection take place at: check in from 15.00pm to 21.00pm only 29 Eastern Esplanade, Cliftonville, Margate, Kent, CT9 2HL Margate. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
