Quick description
This B&B guest house is next to the 5 locks of the Caledonian Canal, walking distance from Fort Augustus. The village is part of the Great Glen Way. Caledonian House was originally built in the 1860s and was used as Campbell's Tea Room in the 1900s. It has a good location for exploring the sights of the Highlands, including Loch Ness and the islands of Syke, Mull, Iona and Rhum. There are plenty of outdoor activities and spectacular views for walkers. Caledonian House offers fishing trips and mountain-bike hire.

Check-in is from 16:00 to 19:00 only. No earlier or later arrivals without prior arrangement with the owners. There are no facilities for very young children. Please note, late arrivals must be arranged in advance and may be charged an extra fee.
