Less than a 10-minute drive from Stansted Airport, Stansted Lodge can assist with morning taxi transfers to the airport, see Important Information for details. Free WiFi is also available. We offer a basic complimentary self-service breakfast from 03:45 - 10:00, with tea, coffee, toast, jams, marmalade and a selection of cereals with milk. Rooms at Stansted Lodge are traditionally decorated and some have private bathrooms. An on-site laundry facility is also available. A local pub and a take-away restaurant are within the immediate area. The M11 motorway is a 10-minute drive away. Elsenham Rail Station is 10 minutes’ walk from Stansted Lodge. From Elsenham there are direct trains to Cambridge and London Liverpool Street.

Please note: Avalon does not provide transfers from the airport, but will arrange morning taxi transfers to the airport. Taxi transfers to the airport are available between 4am and 7am. Guests are requested to inform the property of their estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Special Request box on booking. If the arrival time changes or there is a delay, please call ahead. Cash payments are only accepted in Pound Sterling (GBP). Upon arrival, guests are advised to ring the door bell once and provide time for staff to get to the door.
