The Longmynd is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty enjoying views over the old market town of Church Stretton. It has a heated outdoor pool, and guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast before exploring the grounds on a Woodland Walk. Each bright room at Longmynd has access to free Wi-Fi and provides an en suite bathroom. Some rooms have views over the valley whilst others look onto the Folly Garden. Guests can relax in the panoramic lounge, enjoy a meal in the restaurant, or unwind in the outdoor pool. A well equipped boot and drying room, together with a selection of maps and guidebooks are available for walkers. The property offers gluten free meals and is accredited by Coeliac UK. Far reaching views over the South Shropshire Hills can be enjoyed from the Church Stretton Golf Course, just a 5-minute drive away. Guests can enjoy a game of pitch and putt golf or table tennis at the hotel. The historic towns of Ludlow and Ironbridge lie a 30-minute and 45-minute drive respectively from the Longmynd, while the larger towns of Shrewsbury and Telford are less than 20 miles away.

Dogs can be accepted at a charge of GBP 10 per night per dog (maximum 2 dogs) in bungalows only; no pets allowed in the main building. Payments will appear on bank statements as HF Holidays.
