In the Lake District, Ambleside Central is a room-only accommodation offering luxurious rooms with grand period features set in a Victorian building. With a popular Italian restaurant, the guest house is just 2 minutes’ walk from Ambleside Bus Station. The stylish rooms are sumptuously decorated with rich, colourful fabrics and modern art. Some rooms feature an impressive original fireplace, and all rooms offer tea and coffee facilities and en suite or private modern bathrooms. The Tarantella Restaurant serves classic Italian cuisine, with a range of fresh pizzas and pasta dishes available. The guest house does not serve breakfast. There is also an impressive wine list, and there are a number of restaurants, cafes and pubs just a short walk away. Ambleside Central Guest House is just 20 minutes’ walk from famous Lake Windermere, where a range of boating activities are available. Windermere town centre and railway station can be reached in 15 minutes, and Grasmere is 10 minutes away. Free off-site parking is available a short walk away.

The guest house does not provide breakfast. Check-in is from 15:00 onwards unless otherwise arranged. Collect keys and sign in at Tarantella restaurant next door. Rooms must be vacated by 10:30 on the day of departure. Please note that guests are kindly asked to provide the start date when booking with a Maestro card.
