Herdade is surrounded by plantations and produces organic essential oils from aromatic and medicinal plants. The heated rooms at De Vale AgroTurismo come with a seating area and a private bathroom. Each features a traditional Portuguese décor with carved wooden and wrought-iron furnishings. A fresh breakfast prepared with organic ingredients is offered daily. In the summer, breakfast is served outside on the shaded terrace. In the winter, meals are served near the fireplace in the living room. Lunch and dinner are available on request. A free tour of the oil distillery is offered to guests. Guests can hike to the Guadiana River, just a 20-minute walk away. The property provides bird-watching activities. In the area guests can observe birds like the Golden Eagle, the Iberian Imperial Eagle, the Bonelli's Eagle, the Black Vulture and the Black Stork. When arriving Corte Sines follow the sign Agro-Turismo Vale Côvo. Enter a small country road during 4 km until you find the property's black iron gate.
