Formerly a mill, this beautifully restored hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the Rio Almansor Valley. It has a large outdoor pool and a dining terrace, which overlooks the river. Moinho Do Álamo offers quaint rooms featuring white-washed walls and antique furniture. Each room has a private balcony and a unique bathroom with traditional Portuguese tiles. Continental breakfast is served in Moinho’s rustic dining room with stone walls and an open log fire. Delicious traditional Portuguese menus are available at request for lunch or dinner. Guests can read a book from the Moinho Do Álamo’s collection or rent a boat to explore the river. The hotel’s stables provide opportunities for horse riding, while bikes can be rented for free. Moinho Do Álamo is located a 20-minute drive from Almendres Cromlech, a UNESCO-listed site near Guadalupe, Évora.
