This charming guest house with Georgian-style façade is situated in the heart of De Waterkant Village. It offers views over Cape Town landmarks Table Mountain and V & A Waterfront from its rooftop terrace. The Charles is comprised of 3 historic Georgian houses connected together. Rooms feature African art work and original Cape cottage furniture. Each room offers modern amenities including a satellite TV, ceiling fan and tea-coffee maker. Some rooms are air conditioned or offer an open-plan bathroom. Breakfast is served at the Village Cafe, situated in DeWaterkant Village within walking distance from The Charles. Guests can relax on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the surrounding views. The Charles is a short walk from the boutique shops and great restaurants of Cape Quarter. The lively piazza is opposite The Charles and provides entertainment both day and night.

Please note guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. The card must match the one used to guarantee the booking. Housekeeping staff will provide a linen and towel change every 5th day. This service can be arranged on a Sunday and on public holidays at an additional charge.
