This lodge is located within the Zululand Rhino Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, against the backdrop of the Lebombo Mountains. It offers morning and afternoon games drives, and an outdoor pool with a thatched gazebo. All accommodation offered at The African Spirit Game Lodge has a fan, tea and coffee making facilities, and a private bathroom. Some accommodation features a living room and an open-plan kitchen. The chalets and the villa are fully self-catering. Guests can enjoy typical South African dishes at the lodge. The bar offers a variety of local and international drinks. Game drives should be pre-booked through the lodge. The offered game drives allow guests to get close to Africa’s wildlife in an open vehicle with a trained guide. The lodge can also help with arranging a variety of nearby activities, including horse riding and diving. The Zululand is an endangered species reserve of 240.000.000 m2. It features over 70 mammal species, including elephants, leopards, giraffes, and cheetahs and a diverse bird life. African Spirit Game Lodge is 12 km west of Mkuze.

Please note that conservation entrance fees apply per guest and vehicle. Children under 12 years old are excluded, and children under the age of 3 are not allowed on games drives. Guests are kindly requested to make a reservation for the game drive (at least 24 hours in advance). This can be noted in the Comments Box during booking or by contacting the hotel using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Check-in time is not allowed later than 21:00 on day of arrival. Guests booking for same day arrival, dinner will only be available if you book before 11:00.
