A free shuttle service runs to and from the train and bus station. Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from the UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Whanganui River is a 30-minute drive away. Guests have a choice of rooms with shared or private bathrooms. Most rooms include flat-screen TV. Some rooms feature a fully equipped kitchenette.
