Featuring a shared living area and free Wi-Fi, this hostel in the woodlands of Dachau offers luggage storage, a bistro bar, and spacious canteen. Dachau Old Town is a 20-minute drive away. Internationales Jugendgästehaus Dachau offers a variety of heated, simply furnished rooms. Guests can choose between rooms with private or shared bathrooms. As well as a freshly prepared breakfast buffet each morning, visitors at the Jugendgästehaus can enjoy lunch, evening meals and drinks at the bar. Packed lunches can also be organised for day trips. The sun terrace and garden invites guests to relax outside in sunny weather. The shared games room includes a billiard table, table football and table tennis. Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial is a 5-minute drive away. Bavaria Film Studios and the historic city of Munich can be reached within 45 minutes by car.

Please note that guests must be a member of Hostelling International (HI) or the Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk (German Youth Hostel Association). Membership can be applied for upon arrival. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents aged 26 or younger pay EUR 7 per year, older guests and families pay EUR 22.50 per year upon arrival. Prices apply to guests aged 26 or younger. Older guests pay a surcharge of EUR 4 per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets. Alternatively, a Guest Card with immediate international validity can be obtained for EUR 18. Please note there is no access to the hostel between midnight and 07:00 during the period from 19.09.2015 until 04.10.2015. (entire period of Oktoberfest)
