Quick description

This family-owned, eastern Iceland property is located on Route 1, about 17 km from the town of Egilsstadir. It offers cottage and guest room accommodation with views of Sandfell Mountain. Stora Sandfell's family rooms have tea/coffee facilities and private bathrooms. The larger cottages have a TV, kitchenette and BBQ. Some have a private toilet and bathroom facilities are shared. The surrounding forest provides a nice setting for horseback riding. Stora Sandfell staff can also help arrange hiking tours in the Hjálpleysa Valley. Free private parking is possible at the property for guests who arrive by car.
