Set amidst beautiful Suffolk countryside, Polstead Lodge offers light rooms with garden and horse paddock views, free parking, and is 25 minutes’ drive from Colchester. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and hearty, full English breakfasts. With bright and fresh décor, rooms at Polstead Lodge all include an LCD TV and tea/coffee facilities. Every room also features an en suite bathroom. Breakfast is served each morning, and guests can enjoy traditional, cooked breakfasts or a lighter continental selection. Dating back to 1160, Polstead Church is just a short walk from the lodge, and the surrounding Polstead area is famed for its local cherries. Flatford Mill, home of the famous painter John Constable, is 20 minutes’ drive away, while historic Lavenham is a 30-minute drive from the lodge.
