Stirling Youth Hostel provides 4-star accommodation in the historic quarter of Stirling, situated next to the Victorian Old Town Jail. Only a 15-minute walk from Stirling Railway Station and 1 minute from the nearest bus stop. The hostel offers free WiFi throughout. Private shower and toilet facilities are provided in each room at the Stirling Hostel. A TV lounge is available for guests to use. A large shared kitchen is provided for self-catering, and full English and continental breakfasts are served in the spacious dining room. Luggage and bicycle storage are offered, as well as laundry facilities. Stirling Castle is just 5 minutes’ walk from the hostel. The Stirling Arcade and Thistles Centre are just 500 metres away and feature many shops and cafés. The Wallace Monument is only 20 minutes by bus from the rail station. SYHA is a charity and membership organisation.

SYHA is a charity aiming to inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons, gain knowledge and independence through new experiences of adventure and discovery. In support of this aim, all bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of SYHA and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund). From the age of 5 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may be accommodated in a single-gendered shared room with the parent or guardian and other guests, at the discretion and responsibility of the parent or guardian. The young person/people, the parent/guardian and the other occupants of the room must be of the same gender. When booking for more than 9 persons, different policies and additional supplements will apply. When booking for more than 9 persons, 100 percent of the total amount may be charged any time after booking. Please note the following cancellation charges will apply to your full booking: - More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. - 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. - 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost. SYHA advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation. Parties with young children (under 5 years) will only be accommodated in designated family rooms, where available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots in a shared dormitory or private accommodation. No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel. Depending on location check-in is either 15.00 or 17.00. Please check these times as stated on your reservation (or on Booking.com) before arrival. SYHA does not accept American Express cards as payment or guarantee. Refunds: Should you be entitled to a refund or part refund, please note these are processed by SYHA National Office in Stirling. It will take 7 to 10 working days from the date of SYHA receiving your request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used. Complementary car parking is available on site however the number of spaces is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is ample street parking controlled by coin-operated meters. These spaces are free to park in between 17:30 and 08:45 daily.
