Newly renovated in 2014, Youth Hostel Stein am Rhein offers dormitory and private rooms, a 15-minute walk from St. George's Abbey and the Medieval Old Town. Free WiFi, a buffet breakfast and 3-course dinner, which can be had on the sun terrace, are offered. All rooms feature a disability access and shared bathroom facilities with a shower and toilet which are located on the same floor. There is a large dining room, reading room with a library, TV room and a lounge with games for communal use. Youth Hostel Stein am Rhein has bike storage and private parking facilities. A kiosk with sweets can be found at the reception. Packed lunches and vegetarian meals can be arranged on request. The property is also part of a garden with a children’s playground, volleyball and basketball court, football goals and barbecue facilities. The Hohenklingen Castle can be reached by car in 10 minutes and the Stein am Rhein Train Station is 1.7 km from the hostel.
