Surrounded by beautiful nature, Snowtrail Dogcamp Lodge is 45 km north of Gällivare. It offers regional cuisine, a free lakeside sauna and simple, cosy rooms. Wi-Fi is free, and rental boats are available. All guest rooms have wooden décor, an armchair and nature views. Some overlook Lake Kivijärvi. Toilets and showers are shared. Guests can enjoy reindeer, elk, and other Lapland specialities at the on-site restaurant. Berries and herbs come from the surrounding region. Packed meals are provided upon request. A private beach is just steps away from the main building. Staff are happy to help organise guided hiking trips, fishing and other activities. In winter, Snowtrail offers dog sledding trips, and guests are welcome to pet the dogs. The Snowtrail Lodge is in a remote location, only accessible by all-terrain vehicles. Kiruna is 90 km north of the property.
