Situated directly on the River Main, this youth hostel has great panoramic views of Frankfurt’s skyline. Haus der Jugend offers a 24-hour reception and relaxing inner courtyard. The bright rooms and classic dormitories at Jugendherberge Frankfurt – Haus der Jugend are simply furnished, and shared bathroom facilities are available in the hallway. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning, and buffets are also available for lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy snacks and drinks in the Backpackers Inn café, while admiring the views of the Main and central Frankfurt. Haus der Jugend is located in the vibrant Sachsenhausen district, just a 15-minute walk from Frankfurt’s Old Town and the Museumsufer (museum mile). Frankensteiner Platz tram stop is just 50 metres from the hostel.

Guests must be a member of the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF) or Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk. A valid youth hostel membership card is required to stay at the property, which can also still be purchased on arrival. For guests residing abroad it costs EUR 3.50 per night, German tourists will be charged between EUR 3.50 - 22.50. Guests aged 27 or over have to pay an additional fee of EUR 4.50 per night. These charges are not included in the room rate. Guests planning to arrive after 18:00 should contact the hotel in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. There is no access to the hostel between 02:00 and 06:00 as it is closed.
