Magic Bacalar is located right on the beautiful Bacalar Lagoon. This eco-friendly campsite offers tents, bungalows, double bedrooms and single beds in shared dormitories. All accommodation types at this campsite feature views of the lagoon and have access to shared bathrooms. Each bungalow also includes a kitchenette with a microwave, hob, fridge and coffee maker. Magic Bacalar offers barbecue facilities and can serve a variety of regional dishes on request. All guests enjoy a free daily breakfast in the the breakfast area, where internet access is also available. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can arrange kayak and bicycle rental as well as catamaran tours. Chetumal Airport is 35 minutes’ drive from Magic Bacalar. You can also drive to Tulum National Park and the Sian-Ka’an Biosphere Reserve in approximately 2 hours. You can take an ADO bus from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum or Chetumal to the Bacalar transport terminal, just a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride from the property.
