Built in the 1920s and offering a range of unique accommodation, Mt Warning B&B is set alongside Tweed River on 5 acres of tropical gardens. Guests can go kayaking on the river, go on a forest hike or simply walk amongst the peaceful gardens. Mt Warning Bed & Breakfast Retreat is just 30m from the Tweed River, where you may be lucky to spot a platypus having a swim. Guests can relax with a book by the lily pond or rejuvenate with a swim in the local mountain water rock pools. Accommodation options include guest rooms in the main house, a self-contained apartment, 2 ensuite cabins and, for those who want something a bit different, a Mongolian Tent. There is a shared kitchen set in garden surrounds and an outdoor patio with barbecue facilities. An optional 2 course home-cooked breakfast can be served each morning. The Mt Warning walking tracks are 5 minutes’ away. It is a 30-minute drive from the Tweed Coast beaches.
