Just 1 minute’s walk from the shopping and dining on Queen Street in Auckland CBD (Central Business District), YHA Auckland City features a games room, a 24-hour reception and an internet kiosk. Meet new people on the sunny terrace, or enjoy a meal in the barbecue area. Guests have access to a communal kitchen and dining room, as well as a guest lounge with a TV and free movies. The tour desk can book trips all around New Zealand. Auckland City YHA is 15 minutes’ walk from the Sky Tower, and 20 minutes’ walk from Britomart Train Station. The Auckland War Memorial Museum is a 7-minute drive away. All rooms include fresh linen and access to shared bathroom facilities.

Please note that YHA Auckland City will be closed for refurbishment from May-October 2016. YHA members receive 1GB of free WiFi per day. Guests 17 years or younger are not permitted to stay in dormitory accommodation unless that dormitory is privatised, where all beds are booked in the room and a minimum of one adult is part of the booking party. All guests 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult for any booking and that adult is responsible for actions of all the youths within that booking party.
