Located a 5-minute walk from Nakatsu Train Station and a 15-minute walk from JR Osaka Train Station, this hostel offers simple air-conditioned rooms with a bunk bed and free Wi-Fi. A free-use kitchen and internet PC stations are provided. The compact rooms at Dormitory Umeda have shared toilets and chargeable shared showers. Lockers and free wired internet are provided, and all rooms are non-smoking. Guests sleep on thin futon-style bedding. Umeda Dormitory is 5-minute subway ride from Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station and a 10-minute train ride to Osaka Castle. The lively Dotonbori area is a 20-minute drive away. Both Kyoto and Kobe areas can be reached within a 30-minute train ride. JR Nara Station is a 50-minute train ride away. The lounge has a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and several guitars. A microwave and a rice cooker are available in the shared kitchen. Bicycles can be rented, and a coin launderette is on site. No meals are served.

Children under 12 years can not stay at this hostel. Credit card will be used for guarantee purposes only. When settling the bill, the hotel will accept cash only. Use of showers requires payment of an extra fee (showers are coin-operated). This hostel is located in the Aoyagi Building. Guests are required to stay for more than 1 week. An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property. For guests staying in Osaka, this tax will only apply to stays which begin on and after 1 January 2017.
