Located on Maafushi Island in the Maldives' South Male Atoll, Island Cottage offers simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi set near a residential area. A variety of activities including water sports and excursions to local islands can be arranged by the friendly staff. Rooms with tiled flooring come with air conditioning and en suite bathroom with hot/cold water. Room service is available. Island Cottage offers guest services such as a laundry, currency exchange and a tour desk. Water sport activities range from scuba diving and surfing to catamaran sailing and dolphin watching. Island Cottage Restaurant serves fresh seafood, as well as local and Western dishes. It is a 30-minute speedboat ride or a 90 minute ferry ride from Male International Airport. Airport transfers can be arranged at a charge.

Please note that the guesthouse is located in Maafushi Island. Guests can take a 90-minute public ferry ride from Male City or a 35-minute private speedboat from Male International Airport. Transfer rates are as follow: - Public ferry: USD 3 per person All additional costs are to be paid directly to the hotel. Please note that the public ferry from Male City leaves at 15:00. It operates everyday except on Fridays.
