Featuring a TV lounge with free movies, an outdoor BBQ area and a well-equipped shared kitchen, this hostel offers backpacker accommodation in central Paihia, just 250 metres from the Paihia’s beautiful beach. YHA Paihia Hostel is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Paihia town centre and ferry terminal. It is a 5-minute drive to Waitangi Treaty Grounds and a 25-minute drive to Kerikeri Airport. Guests have access to shared laundry facilities, free on-site car parking and a nearby tennis court. Secure lockers and luggage storage facilities are available. The covered outdoor area offers heaters and a BBQ. The tour desk can book local activities such as Bay of Islands cruises, kayaking trips, helicopter flights, snorkelling, swimming with the dolphins, jet boating, sky diving and trips to Cape Reinga.
