Offering a free-use kitchen, a coin launderette and free Wi-Fi throughout, the entirely non-smoking Oyama Guesthouse Kyoto has private and dormitory-style rooms with air conditioning and shared bathrooms. It is just a 1-minute walk from Kamikatsura Train Station on the Hankyu Line. Rooms are simply decorated. All come with heating/cooling facilities, and some have a desk. Toilets are shared with other guests, and towels are available at extra charge. All rooms are non-smoking. Showers can be used for free. Tsukiyomi Temple is a 5-minute taxi ride from the guesthouse, and Arashiyama Onsen hot spring is a 10-minute drive away. Dinner is available for an extra fee and must be booked in advance. The owner sometimes cooks Korean food for guests.

Please note that towels are not provided, but they can be rented at the reception at a surcharge. The fee is lower before 22:00. Guests must check in between 15:00 and 22:00. The booking may be treated as a no-show if guests fail to check-in by 22:00. No check-in is possible after 22:00. Guests can contact the property directly if they have any enquiries. Guests must check out between 08:00 and 10:00. Please note all children are charged the same rate as an adult. Please inform Oyama Guesthouse Kyoto in advance of your expected arrival time. A security deposit of JPY 10000 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
