Ideally located in downtown Shanghai, Mingtown Etour Youth Hostel is a charming property offering simple yet homely accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Nanjing Road commercial area and People’s Square is a 5-minute walk away. Mingtown Etour Hostel is a 10-minute drive from The Bund and a 5-minute drive from Xintiandi entertainment area. The Oriental Pearl Tower in Pudong New Area is a 10-minute subway ride away. Central yet quiet, the hostel offers a charming garden where guests can relax. The staff at the tour desk can help organise excursions to popular attractions. Added conveniences include laundry, fax and photocopying. All air-conditioned rooms are fitted with wooden flooring, an electric kettle and a writing desk. Guests get to choose between staying in lively shared rooms, or in a quite private room. Guests can enjoy Chinese dishes at the hostel’s on-site restaurant. Alternatively, there are many restaurants located within walking distance of the hostel.

Please provide your estimated time of arrival at the time of booking if you are arriving after 14:00 or you need to check-in/check-out at other times. Extra beds are available (cost varies). Please note that all guests should have passport or ID card at the time of check-in. Please note that hot water is only provided from 07:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 24:00. Lockers can be requested at the front desk at an extra charge. Please note that guests can only book guestrooms for a maximum of 7 nights. Please note that guest should pre-pay full rate of the first night if will arrive late than 18:00. English Service is provided 7:00 to 01:00 (next day). All Children under 12 years old are not permitted in shared dorm accommodations. They must be with guardians in private accommodations. All teenagers under 18 years old must be accompanied by legal guardian. Please kindly notice at the reception if you need to bring a guest into your room. Please note that the hostel doesn't provide disposable toiletries. Please note that all the rooms are non-smoking rooms. If guests need cooking, ironing, using any high temperature devices and using any high power devices, please consult the reception first. Only some of the rooms can add an extra bed. Please inform the reception if you need one. Whether or not the extra bed needs to be added, each room only can stay one more person (adult or baby). The person taller than 110 cm treats as an adult, who needs to be charged the extra bed rate. The person shorter than 90 cm is free to stay. The extra bed rate is the same with the dorm bed room fee. Please note that the dorm bed (bunk beds) is only for individual. Unless you book a private room, there is no guarantee that you and your group will stay in same room. Please kindly return dorm linens and borrowed items to the reception before checking out. A mandatory CNY 100 returnable deposit for each room key is needed. Please note there is no elevator in the 3-floor building. Please note that payment is due upon arrival by cash only. Credit cards are not accepted.
