Situated in rural Spielmannsau, this hostel offers accommodation near the Allgäu Mountains. Just outside the winter resort town of Oberstdorf, it is ideal for exploring the local nature and countryside. All rooms at Mountain Hostel are heated, and furnished in functional style. They offer use of shared bathroom facilities. Mountain Hostel is ideally located for skiing, hiking and cycling in the Bavarian Alps. Younger visitors can enjoy the playground. Guests are invited to prepare their own meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, or use the barbecue facilities. There is a restaurant catering for all mealtimes directly opposite the hostel Mountain Hostel is 10.5 km from Oberstdorf Train Station and it is 9.5 km to the B19 road. Free parking is available on site at the hostel.

Please note guests must bring their own towels, or rent it from the hostel for a small fee. A driving permit for Talstraße will be provided at reception upon arrival.
