This family-run property offers a rock pool surrounded by lush sub-tropical gardens. Gecko Lodge is set on a 35-hectare farm with a walking trail to the Sabie River and is 5 minutes’ drive from Hazyview. All of the individually decorated rooms feature a bright décor, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. Some have views of the gardens from a private balcony. There is a restaurant with open fireplace that serves breakfast and 3-course dinners. Free Wi-Fi access can be enjoyed in public areas such as the shared lounge. Nature walks and bird watching can be done on site and the Phabeni Gate entrance to Kruger National Park is 15 km away.
