Boasting views to Rio de Janeiro’s Leblon Beach from its terrace, Vidigalhouse offers simple shared accommodation with a homey atmosphere in the Favela do Vidigal Community. It has a shared kitchen, cyber café and free Wi-Fi. Decorated with bright colours and simple furniture, the shared dormitories feature air conditioning and a shared bathroom. Bed linens are included in the room rate. Bath towels are available for an additional fee. Guests can enjoy a simple breakfast each morning. The property sits in the vibrant, picturesque Vidigal neighbourhood, which hails from an urbanised favela. It is 5 km from Copacabana Beach, 10 km from central Rio and 15 km from Maracanã Stadium. Santos Dumont Airport and Novo Rio Bus Terminal are both 12 km away.

In order to secure a reservation, a deposit via bank transfer is required. The guesthouse will contact guests shortly after booking to provide bank transfer details and instructions. According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If the minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it will be necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents. All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
