Discovery Guesthouse provides affordable accommodation with air conditioning in the heart of old Malacca, a 5-minute walk from Jonkers Walk. It offers bicycle rental facilities, pool tables and free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse is situated within a 5-minute walk of the St. Francis Xavier Church and several famous local eateries like Chuang Wah Restaurant (chicken rice ball). The Mahkota Parade Shopping Centre is a 10-minute walk away. The rooms at Discovery Cafe and Guesthouse are simply decorated and fitted with colourful beddings. Some room have private bathroom facilities and a writing desk. Guests can borrow guidebooks from the guesthouse’s cosy library corner. There are also darts and karaoke facilities. Alternatively, rent a bicycle and explore the region.

With effect from 1 April 2012, all bookings are subject to a MYR 2 Heritage Charge per room per night. This is to be paid directly to the hotel. Please inform Discovery Cafe and Guesthouse in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A security deposit of MYR 30 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
