Set on 100 acres of woodland, the eco-friendly Habitat Chalet offers a restaurant, BBQ facilities and a cosy guest lounge with a fireplace. The property features lovely views over the Crackenback Valley. All rooms have breakfast included. Habitat Chalet Crackenback is 10 minutes’ drive from Jindabyne, and 20 minutes’ drive from the Kosciuszko National Park. The Thredbo ski fields are a 25-minute drive away. The property features sustainable worm farm sewer systems, rain water supply and a waste management system to minimize their impact on the environment. All chalets include linens, and are serviced daily. Each chalet features a private en suite bathroom. The lodge-style dining room offers a fixed menu, and is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends.

Please note that Habitat Chalet does not accept payments with American Express credit cards. Please note that the heaters in the chalets are controlled by timers, and only operate in the afternoon and evening. During the ski season all rooms include a full cooked breakfast. At all other times guests will receive a continental breakfast. Evening meals are only offered as an option during the ski season, not at other times of the year.
