Located in the centre of Kyoto city, guests at Machiya Residence Kohaku-an can experience staying in a traditional Japanese-style townhouse. The 180-year old building comes with free Wi-Fi and has a kitchen, a living room area and 2 bedrooms. Tofukuji Station is a 5-minute walk and Chisaku-in Temple is a 10-minute walk away. The air-conditioned Machiya townhouse comes with a living room with a tatami (woven-straw) seating area, a flat-screen TV and a laptop. A washing machine and an en suite bathroom is included, while the kitchen comes with a fridge, a microwave and stove. Guests can sit out by the traditional garden and sleep in Western bed or in Japanese futon bedding on tatami floors. Free coffee and tea are provided. No meals are served. Kohaku-an Machiya Residence Inn is a 20-minute public bus ride from Kiyomizu Temple, and a 10-minute walk from Sanjusangendo Temple. JR Kyoto Train Station is a 10-minute train ride away.

After the reservation has been confirmed, guests will receive an email with the code for the townhouse's electronic lock, the management company's phone number, along with the address and map for the management company’s ‘Check-in Desk’. You can complete your check-in procedure at the ‘Machiya Residence Inn Check-in Desk’, which is located a 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station. For further questions or concerns, please contact the management company directly. The total price of the booking will be charged on the day of booking. If guests cancel the booking, part of the charged fee will be refunded in accordance with the property's cancellation policy. Please contact the property in advance if guests wish to use a baby cot.
