This working farm, which still cultivates cereal and rears horses and sheep, now boasts a large open-air swimming pool and maintains all of its historic beauty. There is also a meeting room on the property which can fit up to 50 people. The entire complex has been lovingly restored in local timber and stone and the charmingly rustic rooms come equipped with modern facilities including free WiFi access. Monaco Di Mezzo is ideal for a variety of sporting activities. With its own stables and show-jumping arena as well as the Madonie National Park nearby, offering unlimited scope for trekking, this residence is great for horse-lovers. Biking and walking excursions are also possible and even the ski slopes are just half an hour away. After working up an appetite with all that sport you will be delighted to enjoy a meal at Monaco Di Mezzo’s restaurant, which serves delicious traditional dishes made with organic, locally produced ingredients, including a variety of meats and cheeses and freshly-picked fruit and vegetables.
