Each room at Athena is decorated in neutral tones and comes with black-out curtains for the long summer days. There is also a furnished garden at the property, as well as free parking. Guests can cook their meals in the kitchen and use the dining area. The owners can offer car rental, and the famous Blue Lagoon geothermal springs are within an hour’s drive. Thjódminjasafnid National Museum is within a 10-minute walk of the property, and the Nauthólsvík hot spring beach is 10 minutes away by car.
